Midwest Truck Sales in Olathe says our truck will be ready in about an hour so we’re going to go get it and start on our all our Thursday pick-ups. If you’re a Thursday customer, we’ll be by today.

On August 1st Sunflower Curbside Recycling celebrated eight years serving Lawrence Kansas. We are pleased to say that despite the second great contraction (depression) and the flying monkeys from the east, we are still going strong! Thanks to all who have used our service over the years.

Each Tuesday lately we’ve been fueling up our truck at the same point in our route. Yesterday I put 19.887 gallons of 50% biodiesel in there. So for the whole week of recycling we used less than 20 gallons of fuel! We feel pretty good about that.

Hi everybody. Today we celebrate seven years in business! The recession slowed us down a bit and Deffenbaugh knocked us back a few steps, but we’re still going strong. We still take more stuff than anyone else in town. Ever wonder what to do with that old washer or ceiling fan, that string of lights or the fixtures your plumber left behind? Give us a call.
