Sunflower Curbside Recycling offers
weekly pick-up service to homes and businesses. We can also
arrange to make one-time pick-ups. Custom plans are available
and negotiable.
Recyclables should be placed on the curb
or in the alley where they are easy to access and they should be
properly sorted.
All items should be out by 8 a.m. on your pick-up day. If
they are not out by that time, they might be left behind.

(This option is available for small households that generate
little waste).

appliance: $15
Additional appliances: $10 each
Note: Although I'll be happy to pick up your
appliances for you, if you live in Lawrence and have trash service,
the city will pick them up at no extra charge and
will collect the freon from cooling appliances. To arrange a
pick-up with the city, call the Solid Waste Division at
832-3022.
Important note: To
prevent severe environmental damage, cooling appliances such as
air conditioners, refrigerators, and freezers must have the
freon professionally removed before we can take them
away.

Prices are negotiable depending on what
you need to have picked up.
